About Us
SHIRTS=AWESOME is the culmination of several ingredients: years spent printing shirt, the need for income, and a passion to do something we love.
After a layoff from the corporate world in 2009, owner Justin Nygren decided to set out to take over the world… with shirts. Not just any shirts, but AWESOME shirts. Shirts that try to do good by thinking globally and acting locally. Shirts that employ local artists in the creation of logos and designs thus adding goodness to the local economy. Shirts that allow the purchaser to buy with a clean conscience knowing that steps are being made to think ethically about the screen printing business.
So, we promise to do as much good as possible with our business. We’ll offer phthalate free inks for those who want them and organic cottons for those who ask. We will limit the use of chemical to only what is needed and limit the amount of our waste through wisdom, common sense and recycling. We’ll use our powers for good and support causes that make positive social contributions to this beautiful planet we call home.

Graphic Design/Logo Creation – S=A has a full range of options when it comes to getting your design right. Whether you’re starting from scratch, working with an idea or already have artwork ready, we’re ready to take you to the next level.
Garment Printing – Shirts, hats, messenger bags… If you need it printed, chances are, we can print it. Just ask.
On-Site Screen Printing – You have the party, we bring the printing. Our six-color screen printing operation allows us to create unique gifts on-site at your next function. Guests pick the shirt and the design, we print on location and they walk away with a product made just for them.

SHIRTS=AWESOME has several things in mind when pricing our services and products.
First: You the customer.
Second: The artists we work with.
We want you as a customer to get the best deal possible. If we give you a quote and you can find it cheaper, let us know. Chances are we’ll strike you a deal.
We also want to be able to take care of local artists. We believe in the value of art and want to help get rid of the “starving artist” cliche.

After we know what you need, we’ll create a quote and send it to an email address that you supply us. It really is that simple.
UpCycle
There are tons of shirts floating around out there and most of them are still usable. With the UpCycle option, we do the work of harvesting the best shirts out there for your order.
Our UpCycle option saves perfectly good t-shirts form entering landfills by tapping into local resources such as Craigslist and Freecyle. It also helps support local charities by purchasing from places like Goodwill and other resale stores.
We guarantee that every shirt that is used in the UpCycle program is not a new shirt! Please be aware that some shirts may have small “character flaws” due to the nature of their origin. Think of them as “love marks” and how cool you will feel when you can tell people, “Our shirts are not new!”
Shirts ordered through the “UpCycle” program can’t be returned and come “As is” from our heart to yours. Please don’t try and break our hearts.
